my little basketball player

It's a BOY peeps! Our sweet little boy is movin' and groovin' and growing those long femur bones of his to join the Lakers one day. When the Ultrasound Tech told us the news, Scott's face lit up and he gave my ankle an extra squeeze. We laughed as we realized we were both wearing blue that day! Meant to be :)

I've always thought in the back of my mind that I would have a boy first. Throughout my pregnancy, I've always subconsciously said "he" when referring to the baby. (Though I'd quickly say, "or She!" Don't want to offend my little fetus ya know?) But, I was right.  Mother's intuition I guess. (Or at least I like to think that way--that I'm omniscient :)

20 weeks

a wittle foot

But we are so happy! We can finally start buying clothes and little things that only a boy needs, like a Pee-Pee Teepee. So far we only have a sock monkey, a Thanksgiving onesie, and two boxes of diapers. Homeboy needs some STUFF! The essentials, of course, like a Lakers and Dodgers jersey.

(But we can't get too carried away. My Aunt Hilary's last child was supposed to be a boy.
THREE ultrasounds all said "BOY" and out popped sweet Colette. This gives me a little anxiety.)

Congratulations! I knew my first was a boy too before I actually found out. You're looking super cute too! Any names in mind now you know the gender?

Yea for boys - Just imagine the play dates we can have if our old apt ever reunites again ;) But for real, finding out was/is SO fun - and I HEART little boys. There is something about seeing your husband with their son, that melts my heart. And the father/son campouts they have in the future, etc. etc. just makes me get all teary eyed. I'm so glad this little baby is looking so awesome and healthy. And you, my dear Anne Shirley (haha - can you hear Diana saying that?) look so super darling. You're gorgeous.

CONGRATS!!!!!!!!

Yay! Boys are fun and such a handful but lots of fun. And now that will mean all of us roomies had boys first. How funny is that?

Congrats you guys! And you're just as cute pregnant as I thought you would be Cristine!

We are so excited for you guys. He is adorable. Don't you just love him so much already? It is fun when you know the gender, but I was totally freaked out about emree coming out a boy. These next few months are so exciting and I hope the pregnancy is treating you well so you can enjoy them. You look fabulous too, by the way. Such a cute pregnant girl!
