bassetball

In west philadelphia born and raised, on the playground is where scott spent most of his days,
chillin out, maxin', relaxin, all cool

yadda yadda. We like bassetball. (as the Larkins kids say it :) And the fresh prince. classic.

The brevard county park is right next to our casa, so we took advantage of the fabulous 80 degree weather and worked off our cold stone indulgence. Actually, scott was the one who got a workout. He had to run after the ball pretty much the whole time since i don't want to can't run in my present 36 weeks state. "I choose not to run!" (Seinfeld) We played an intense game of "Around the World." Tensions ran high, the competitiveness was epic, the shots were legendary. We were 0 for 7 in the beginning. So legit.

Of course, it would have been a different story if we had been wearing our new ShotMaster shirts, and if the crazy dad on the court behind us wasn't yelling at his seven year old son, "Triple threat! Triple threat!" That dad needed to be schooled and brought down a notch or twenty, but I had my baby to think about and I prefer to save my energy for labor. Lucky son of a gun. I was this close.

did i mention we're expecting two babies?

my focus cannot be matched.

look at that fiiiiinne figure. tweedle dee ain't got nothin on me.
or my ballin' kitty.

Best part of the night:
We walk into our apartment. Scott realizes he left his water bottle in the car.
And yells in exasperation, "George Albert Smith!"
I laughed for 10 minutes straight.
