Uncle Brad's Birthday is July 18th! Today! Happy Birthday Uncle Birdseed!!
- Uncle Brad's nickname is Birdseed. It just happened. (Or Brenda. His three older sisters would dress him up like a girl and call him Brenda. haha. Poor Brad.)
- Uncle Brad was my best friend growing up. I WORSHIPED him. My memories of him will always be whats portrayed in the first picture. That's my Uncle Brad all sprawled out on the floor. Since I was the first grandchild, he was the closest person in age. So naturally, I clung to him. He would dance with me, watch movies with me, tickle me, let me watch him play video games. I loved it. He was my buddy.
- Uncle Brad is a great dancer. haha. I will never forget a Newhall II Ward Talent Show where he and the other priests performed to a Beach Boys song. Who wears short shorts? haha. They did. It was the early 90's. It's not entirely their faults.
- Uncle Brad is a great father and husband. All his kids are mini-Brads in looks and likes. He and Mandy just had their 5th baby!!!
- Uncle Brad is athletic. He followed in Grandpa's footsteps and was a great basketball. (Again, short shorts. hehe.)
- Uncle Brad is a tease. I have really thick hair. When I was younger I didn't know quite how to tame it. Whenever my "doo" was particularly bushy, he'd throw my hair in my eyes and call me "Cousin It" from "The Addams Family." Sad huh?
- Uncle Brad is a superhero fanatic. Batman, Superman, Spiderman, you name it. He loved them. Still loves them. His kids love them! Dad and Donald told me that when Brad was young, they sang "Jingle Bells, Batman Smells" at Christmas. Brad would cry and yell, "Batman does not smell!!" What a tender heart. haha. I agree with you, Brad. Batman does NOT smell. :)
- Uncle Brad is a great example. He is the Bishop of Newhall I. He is wise and responsible and well-spoken. He is a great motivator and good with the youth especially.
I love you Uncle Brad! Thanks for always being my buddy and dancing with me and playing with me. They might have been little things you don't remember, but I remember them and count myself so lucky that I had a fabulous uncle like you!!!! Happy Birthday!!!
