me + life: Golf

Oh Golf. My experience really doesn't stray much past Miniature Golf at Mountasia in Canyon Country or the 5 hole putting green here in Idaho Falls. However, since I'm trying to be more "adventurous" I decided to play some golf. Actual golf. A real game. 9 holes.

Day off + hubby + brother + beautiful day + a fantastic farmer's tan= Golf.

It was pretty enjoyable (mostly because I was soaking in the sun and loving the warm weather ). I did pretty well for a first-timer, but my energy and enthusiasm started to wane as time went on. Eventually, I just used the driver for all my shots--putting included. I didn't feel like switching clubs. Too much energy. And...I stopped keeping score. Too much mental energy. So technically, I guess, it wasn't a real game. :)

But Scott is awesome!! He did so well and I was very impressed with his skills and golf attire. He was looking good in those plaid golf shorts. :)

I'm not sure that I'm dying to go back and play another round. And I don't think I could ever last 18 holes. But I loved the time spent with my hubby and brother (who will be putting in his mission papers in the next couple of months--love his guts.)
