Oh my heavens, the "bump it." I was sitting watching tv when a commercial for the "bump it"--a plastic hair piece that poofs your hair--made me gag and run for the bathrooom. I don't understand it. I get that it could be good for wedding or prom hairdos, but EVERY DAY!!!!!?????
Come on! Then they have to insult me and say that there is also the special edition Hollywood Bump It. Please. It should be called the Idaho Bump It. Lora, Brittany and I used to call it "the buh."
I just don't understand why ratting and back-combing your hair into a mile-high rat's nest and then hairspraying the life out of it is considered pretty here.
5 reasons why I hate "the buh":
1. I can't see the movie screen at the theatre when a girl with a "buh" sits in front of me.
2. I can't see the teacher in class.
3. It's sheer rattiness distracts me.
4. It gives you an alien head.
5. Its U-G-L-Y!
Somebody get me to California, NOW!

HAHA! That is SO funny! I cannot believe that they actually made something to put on your head, at least it takes care of the rats nest I guess. :) I'm not against body, body in hair is nice, but the bump and the poof and the buh are just a little out of control!
analogy:
One brownie is nice, but do you really have to eat the whole batch? it will make you want to vomit.

Hahah! Thank you for this post! I saw that commercial, too, and almost peed my pants laughing! I don't understand HOW they can get it so big and that it stays that way for so long. It's a talent that I am soooo glad I don't have :)

Oh my gosh, I saw that too! I almost fell off my chair when it came on. What is the world coming to when things are being made to make that hairstyle easier!
