I felt like Mushu from Mulan this morning, "My baby's all grown up and saving China." tear. haha.
I really did feel like Scott was my baby this morning. He looked so cute going through his backpack and putting in his new folders and pens. He was a little perturbed that WalMart had only "girly" colors left for notebooks--purple, lime green and red. (He got a red one.) I told him red was just fine and could work for a male or female. It's not girly looking.
Then I remembered he had found a Batman sticker in one of his video games. "Hey! Do you want to put your Batman sticker on your notebook?" haha. Of course, I was teasing. Scott just gave me this look like, "I'm not seven ya' know." I kept teasing him and impersonated him at class talking to his classmates like a nerd, "My mom said I could have the red one and put whatever stickers I wanted on it! I like Batman." haha. He was not amused. He did the only thing he could think of at the moment to defend himself--shine the laser pointer at me.
That's what I love about our marriage. The silliness. And isn't my hubby just so gosh darn cute?! (He was a tired, sick boy this morning.)
