AHHH!!!

Scott and I went to the movies last night, and as we were walking into our theatre I saw THIS!!!!
It was hilarious. I started freaking out and gushing over it, and then some other girls came over and were doing the same thing. haha. Twilight is certainly bringing the females of the world together. Scott just rolled his eyes and kept walking. I was so excited, I begged him to let me tell him all about the book and why it's so good as we waited for the movie to start. And being the wonderful husband he is. He listened to my blabbering and squealing and gave an occasional nod. haha. poor Scott.
But I'm already planning my party for the premiere. Who wants to be invited!? :)

GO LAKERS!

So Scott and I are big Lakers fans. We've been watching all the games and it is so fun to really get into it and scream and cheer wearing our Bryant jerseys (though I wish I had an Ariza jersey. that guy's a stud).

A couple of weeks ago, our friends Steve and Jen told us they could get us tickets for the Lakers vs. Jazz game. So of course we went! We drove down to Utah and met Steve and Jen for the game. We all sported the colors and it was hysterical walking into the stadium surrounded by the Jazz fans.

It was a little crazy. But I was surprised at how many Lakers fans were there! It was awesome. Our seats were located next to other Lakers fans so we felt a bit more safe. (except for the one drunk guy in front of us. haha. lots of high fives were given by that guy.)

All four of us were being super loud and annoying and I was loving it! Thank heavens we won. It was a blowout. But still, I didn't want to walk back to the car a loser. During the game we chanted, "We want tacos!" and the oh-so-occasional "Boozer sucks!" and "Pig-face!" haha. good times.

Leaving the stadium we saw quite a few fights and arguments. We were cussed at, etc. Scott had to pull me out of the way as a fight erupted right next to me. scary.

We parked in the Gateway parking structure and had to take the elevator down. So here was Scott and I crammed into this elevator, decked out in Lakers jerseys, amid a sea of hostile Jazz fans. It was dead silent.
Then this lady who had been shopping at the Gateway spoke up, "So....Do I dare ask who won?"

(All eyes on Scott and I)

"Maybe not with just us in here." I squeeked out.

Everyone started laughing. It was pretty funny. But I could just imagine Scott and I getting pummeled to death in an elevator by Jazz fans. That's not the way I want to go.

All in all, we had a blast. And the Lakers have continued to do us proud. We are in the semi-finals and up 2-1 against the Nuggets.

Thanks Scott for being a Lakers fan with me. I have so much fun with you! Go Lakers!

Happy Birthday Brittany!

Brittany turned the BIG 2-0!!!! She is probably one of the funniest people I know. She is always spouting random movie quotes at the most random times. She lights up our family with laughter and silliness. I am so thankful that she lives only 20 minutes away and I get to have some family near me. I love talking about Twilight with her (Death to the Dog!)and gabbing about her love interests. :) She is a kind and thoughtful person (though she gets agitated a bit quickly and is the worst person to go shopping with. haha) But she has a quirky, punky, pretty style and her nails are always perfectly black. (Spider fingers!) I love her so much and am so grateful that Heavenly Father sent me a perfect sister and best friend!

After-Hours Prom Sale

A couple of weeks ago, Margene's Bridal had an after-hours sale for prom dresses. So I worked a 13 hour day. I was a wee bit tired as you can imagine. When I get tired my eyes get watery. So of course that happened and all my co-workers kept asking, "Are you okay?" They thought I had been crying. haha. I wasn't THAT unhappy to be there. haha.

A TON of people showed up though so that was awesome. It was a bit of a mad house at first, but the crazy atmosphere made it more fun.

During the sale, a few other businesses showed up to give coupons and what not. A limousine company also came. He had one of his limos out front for the girls to sit in and see. So at the end, me and my girls ( left to right: me, Camille, Cassie and Melissa) went out to see. It was a pretty cool one. I haven't been in a limo in a long time. It had fiberoptic lights on the ceiling. I want to hire one, but where would Scott and I go in it?! The sand dunes!!?? Idaho Falls is a nice place, but I dont know if its really the type of place that you ride around in a limo in. Sorry I.F.
