The "Bump It"

Oh my heavens, the "bump it." I was sitting watching tv when a commercial for the "bump it"--a plastic hair piece that poofs your hair--made me gag and run for the bathrooom. I don't understand it. I get that it could be good for wedding or prom hairdos, but EVERY DAY!!!!!?????

Come on! Then they have to insult me and say that there is also the special edition Hollywood Bump It. Please. It should be called the Idaho Bump It. Lora, Brittany and I used to call it "the buh."

I just don't understand why ratting and back-combing your hair into a mile-high rat's nest and then hairspraying the life out of it is considered pretty here.

5 reasons why I hate "the buh":

1. I can't see the movie screen at the theatre when a girl with a "buh" sits in front of me.

2. I can't see the teacher in class.

3. It's sheer rattiness distracts me.

4. It gives you an alien head.

5. Its U-G-L-Y!
Somebody get me to California, NOW!

Valentine's Day

Oh glorious Valentine's Day. Well, actually, it was kind of uneventful. Scott and I both had to work that day and we were exhausted when we got home. Once I hit the couch I knew I wouldn't be moving for the rest of the night. So we scratched going out to dinner and a movie and stayed home. We ordered a heart-shaped pizza from Papa Johns--which was AMAZING! I don't know if I was just really hungry or what, but MAN that tasted good. It was devoured in about 1 minute. So we just vegged, exchanged cards and candy, I made pink cupcakes and watched the NBA all-star stuff. Pretty boring huh? Oh well. Happy Valentine's Day!

Graduation from BYU-Idaho December 2008

I graduated! (over a month ago) Yeah!!

I graduated with a Bachelor's of Art in English, special emphasis in Professional Writing and a minor in Humanities.

My graduation "story" was posted on Dec. 16th, "Free at Last...but...Sick."

It was a great day. I love my family and was so grateful that they could be with me to support me. I am so grateful for my education and the wonderful experiences and knowledge that college provided me with.
(I know I have other pictures with my in-laws and just Scott, but they must be on his phone. More photos to come I guess!)
