Three Year Anniversary in Jackson Hole, WY

On August 26, 2006, Scott & I were married in the Los Angeles Temple for time and all eternity.
I will forever be grateful for that wonderful day in the temple. Words cannot express the tangible spirit and emotion that overwhelmed me as I stepped into the sealing room and was greeted by the smiles of my family and dearest friends.
I remember feeling so pure and just radiantly happy. I have that same feeling every time Scott and I go to the temple together and I always feel that he loves me even more each time we go. He is my eternal companion and I feel so blessed to be sealed to him. He supports me, comforts me, teaches me, takes care of me, and loves me.
I always ask him why he loves me. And he always replies, "Because you're mine."
I hope one day I can feel that I deserve him.
I am so thankful to my Heavenly Father for my temple marriage & the blessings it brings daily.

(Don't we look so young?)

For our anniversary we took a day trip to Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The drive was beautiful and it was fun to sit in the car with Scott listening to music and holding hands. Jackson Hole is my grandma Trudy's favorite place and she told us a few spots to go to.
We ate at Mountain High Pizza Pie and devoured an entire pepperoni pizza by ourselves. We were a wee bit famished. Then we rode the Alpine Slide. We rode the ski lift to the top and then flew down on our super dirty carts. I wish it had lasted longer.

After the slide, we walked around Jackson Hole and perused through all the shops. Of course, we had to take a couple pictures by the huge antler arches.

And of course, Scott needed to pretend that he had antlers.

After shopping, we went to the Teton Village and rode an enormous 60 person gondola 10,000 feet up to the top of a mountain.
We had a beautiful view of Jackson Hole, but boy was it freezing!

Overlooking Jackson Hole.
I love this picture.

Scott bought a ninja snowboard mask when we were shopping. Luckily, I had it in my purse at the top of the mountain so I put it on to stay warm. I felt super silly and definitely like a ninja.
(Notice how I was wearing sandals. Yeah, very cold.)

After the gondola, we ate our anniversary dinner at the Four Seasons. It was delicious! I had an arugula salad with candied hazelnuts, bleu cheese crumble and an orange balsamic vinagerette. It was amazing. We both had the lobster, which again, was awesome. It cracked me up though because when they brought it out the lobster head was on the plate and its tentacles were hanging over. I'm used to just having a lobster tail. I laughed all through dinner because the tentacles kept touching my silverware. Poor little lobster.
We finished with chocolate fondue, holding hands & sipping our non-alcoholic sparkling cider.
It was so romantic.

As we left the Four Seasons, we took a cute little path back to our car. I was putting our camera away when Scott yelled, "DEER!" There were two deer literally 15 feet from us nibbling on some leaves. I thought it was adorable and told Scott they were a husband and wife out for a stroll just like us. He laughed because they were both male deer. I forgot that female deer don't have antlers.

Jackson Hole was a perfect little getaway to celebrate our anniversary. We've been told over and over again to take these opportunities while we live so close. Thank you sweetheart for working so hard and for always making me feel so loved!
I love you! Happy Anniversary!
