So...I am kind of hyperventilating about the 4th Twilight book coming in only a couple of days. I have been re-reading the first three to freshen my memory. I just finished the second book this morning. While reading, I couldn't suppress the sporatic giggles and shrieks of delight that just escape from me. I love these books.
My sisters and I are going to the midnight release party at Border's in Valencia. Yes, we are obsessed. We've even ordered matching T-shirts. I guarantee that many pictures will follow the party. The songs on my blog are related to this post. Stephenie Meyer's inspiration for the books is the band Muse. The other song "Lion" was suggested by another Twilight fanatic. I think it should definitely be the theme song for the movie.
So everyone that shares my enthusiasm...scream with me on three: one...two...three...
BITE HER!

My great-great-great-great-great grandmother Elizabeth Barlow was kidnapped by Indians. Her family owned a farm. Her father was a good friend of the local Indian Chief. But there were still tensions between settlers and Indians. One day, Elizabeth and her brother were playing in a sunflower patch near the farm. Suddenly, a young Indian warrior sneaked up on them, grabbed Elizabeth, threw her into a potato sack, and rode off with her on his horse. Elizabeth's brother ran and told their father. He rounded up a few other men and they went in search of Elizabeth. They came to the Indian's camp and it was suprisingly, the friendly Indian Chief's tribe. The Chief was furious at the young Indian for stealing a good friend's daughter to make her a wife. A wife! Can you imagine!? I think Elizabeth was only about 10 years old. So the chief apologized and gave Elizabeth back.

The church where they got married. It was very quaint and pretty. Kind of like the church on "A Walk to Remember."
And then, just sitting on the porch relaxing. Scott sure loves to play guitar. Our niece Ellery is watching off to the side. The other kids were climbing in the trees and playing lacrosse with Shawn.
Scott thinks he's pretty tough
